Individual online lessons
Having individual online lessons with us is really simple! If you want to learn Croatian one-on-one with a teacher, just leave your email address here and we’ll get back to you to arrange your free 60-minute trial lesson.
After the trial lesson, if you decide to continue learning Croatian with us, lessons can be held as many times per week as you want and at the time that suits you. That is, of course, if your desired timeslots are available in our schedule.

What is your teaching approach?
Our lessons are highly individualised. We use pre-made materials as a “spine” for structured learning, adapted to the individual needs of each student.
We cater for:
- students who are complete beginners
- students who have Croatian background and have picked up quite a lot of vocabulary, but struggle with grammar
- students who want to learn enough Croatian to be able to have simple conversations during their holidays in Croatia
- students who want to learn advanced Croatian to be able to live in Croatia
- students who want light and easygoing lessons
- students who want serious grammar drill

Is the communication with a teacher audiovisual?
Yes, the communication between you and the teacher is audiovisual, with face-to-face conversation in real time.
What teaching materials do you use?
We have our own teaching materials. We combine text, images, videos, audios…
Do I have to buy some additional textbooks?
No, all of the teaching materials are included in the price: there are no extra costs or hidden costs.
What training do your teachers have?
All of our teachers are native Croatian speakers, linguists with university degrees and trained to teach Croatian as a second language.
All of our teachers speak at least one foreign language proficiently and also have intermediate or basic level knowledge of a second or third foreign language.

What is the duration of the lessons?
Our Croatian lessons are typically 60 or 90 minutes long. It’s up to you to choose your preferred duration. If you have an attention span that is long enough, 120 min is also possible.
Do I pay in advance?
No, we typically don’t charge in advance for our Croatian lessons. We issue invoices at the end of the month for the lessons that have already been held during that month. For example, at the end of May, you’ll receive an invoice for the lessons that you had in May etc.
However, if you prefer to have prepaid lessons, that’s also possible 🙂
What if I want to stop learning Croatian with you?
If you want to stop learning Croatian with us at any point, it’s enough to send us an email (or any other kind of written notification) two weeks before you want to stop and that’s it.
There are no obligations to continue learning: no penalties, no pressure, no questions asked. We want to teach Croatian only to people who can and want to learn Croatian with us.
Am I obliged to learn Croatian with you for a defined period?
No, there are no such obligations. You can stop learning Croatian with us at any point. It’s enough to send us an email (or any other kind of written notification) two weeks before you want to stop having lessons and that’s it.
